Wednesday, October 14, 2009 Neglect is not even the word to use for what I've been doing to peglegpug.com. However these past couple of months have been a little crazy. I will now let you know what I have been working on, plus maybe I'll do something crazy, like add pictures to my site! Who would have thought? In September, I started a photo shoot for Kernel Encore. 200 different flavors of popcorn calls of lots of days of shooting. So far, I have shot 80 different kinds of popcorn! As the seasons changed and the holiday popcorn is added I will be back to shoot some more colorful and yummy popcorn. The first weekend in October was just crazy! IZEAFest took over my life. I had just started working for IZEA about three weeks before IZEAFest, so I was already excited, but 'working' the conference was amazing. No matter what. Honestly all I did was run around and take pictures of each of the speakers and everyone enjoying the conference. Four nights and three days of pure nuttiness. Oh and SeaWorld!! While at IZEAFest, I was asked to shoot Rock For Hunger Fest 4 which was taking place the Saturday after IZEAFest ended. Awesome! Yes! Of course I will. Had a great time, watched a TON of bands and took a lot of pictures! I am now anxiously waiting to see where some of the pictures show up!! |

Tuesday, April 7, 2009 The end of March got to be a little crazy. I haven't had a free weekend..and I don't see one in the near future. I love staying busy and I plan to KEEP myself busy. My blog has been my main concern recently - that has been getting updated with pictures and what has been going on. I got a chance to see Kelly Clarkson at Universal a couple of weekends ago and it was an amazing thing! You can find my write up at peglegpug.com/blog and LOTS of pictures! As for April -- taxes, taxes, taxes. Last year I was so good and did our taxes early..this year, not so much. I'm knee deep in receipts and am hating very second of it. Thankfully, I took a "twitter break" and saw that Greg Rollett was looking for photographers for the upcoming April Orlando Job Fair on April 16th. So yea! I get to go and take pictures! I know, I know. I shouldn't be so excited, but I am! I've never gotten an opportunity like this, normally I just happen to be there. But this time, I'm there..for a reason Hope everyone is having a great April! |
Sunday, November 30, 2008I have added: 13 pictures of the latest Space Shuttle Night Launch (11/14/08, Banana River) to the Scenic section, 9 pictures from Join the Impact National Protest (11/15/08, Orlando) to the Like No Other section and 12 pictures from a Devin The Dude concert (11/22/08, Orlando, Back Booth) to the Concert section. I am working on getting another Free Print up, but I still need more votes. As of now, there are 9 votes. I wanted at least 50 to decide on what print will be next! So vote! As much as I don't want this to be, this may be one of my last updates until after Christmas. I will be busy/tired when it comes to Christmas parade and work, so any free time with that will probably involve me sleeping Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving..and now onto the other holidays. I don't know about you, but I still have a lot of Christmas shopping to do! |
Thursday, November 20, 2008 As Thanksgiving gets closer, more and more things are being slammed into my tiny little brain (and it's starting to hurt). And NO I am not talking about "Black Friday" and all that craziness that revolves around shopping (BLAH!). I'm talking about work. My part time job will give me enough time off during the holidays, so I'm not so much worried about that..thankfully! I, however, am still a "seasonal" Cast Member at the wonderful world of Disney and I need to pick up a shift to make sure that I keep my status (aka my lovely Disney perks). Also, starting on December 2, I start working nights (mainly 6PM-4AM) on the WDW Christmas Parade. So, when that starts, I will be juggling two jobs *9AM-4PM, 6PM-4AM* (which I've done before) and I will be a very tired little girl (which I am pretty much always).
My main fear is that I don't want to start slipping with my site and my photography. I'm in the process of looking for some awesome photography books. So if you have any in mind, please e-mail me at

. I have taken quite a few pictures this month and can't wait to get them up on here. (Look out soon for pictures of: Boyz II Men, the last NIGHT Space Shuttle Launch, and the Orlando Amendment 2 Protest.) I hope that everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving and gets to spend some time with the family -- as I hope to do. |
Well, ladies and gentleman. I have finished almost 30 of the 70 orders that I received yesterday. The first batch should be going out this week! I can't wait for everyone to check their mailboxes and get something from peglegpug.com! When you do receive them, please make sure to come back and leave a comment or go to the contact page to send me a message. Thanks to everyone again for their support! |
