Friday, May 1st, I was getting ready for work. Jeff decided mentally “Might as well tell her now!”, so he busted up in the bathroom, swinging the door open, and yelled “YOU WON!!” Still half asleep I STILL knew what that meant. I was getting my hair cut, colored, highlighted, eyebrows done, and product for FREE! After that set it, I then yelled at Jeff for scaring the crap out of me.
Tuesday, May 5th was the day. I finally had my haircut by someone that knew what they were doing. Lisa at AdoreDeSalon is wonderful.
When I walked in there I was looking pretty rough. My hair was up in a clip (anyone surprised?) and it just wasn’t doing anything.

When I walked out — I honestly felt like I had a wig on. My hair was amazing. It was completely different hair. People asked me if I had a perm. I could gladly say “Nope, this is my hair..with a little product!” Who would have thought in a little over 2 hours my hair could look like this!

It really is gorgeous, even in days after the salon visit (I can never keep that look going…). I like how you look mad in the Before shot. Like they do on infomercials.
As soon as I posted the before/after thing, I realized..wow I could have smiled. I guess I just wanted to be an infomercial, even though I always say “they are ALWAYS mad.” Craziness!
