The Wrath of the Burger

There is a local radio show in Orlando, hosted by Kevin, aka Soul Brother Kevin and also SBK. This post is NOT to promote his show, at all.

There is also a ‘gourmet store’ in town called Cavallari. (I will give you the link to it because I love the place: cavallarigourmet.com) They have large a selection of meat, seafood, beer, soda, wine. Just a lot of great food and drink.

Since Kevin (whom I will now refer to as SBK) talks the place up so much/is sponsored by them, he has a burger named after him. “THE SBK BURGER” (I know, it’s original) Apparently he designed the burger the way he would like his burgers to be. AWESOME! I love trying out new foods. Burgers fo sho.

It has bacon and peppercorn on the outside of the burger. With some cheeses sprinkled in the middle of the burger. It’s also seasoned.. you know the normal stuff. Sounds pretty sweet right?? I mean, come on. Just LOOK at the picture!

So I manage to take my first bite (which was super hard to do). Not sure how I feel about it and go in for another. After that I realize.. nope, not crazy about it. So I post the following on Twitter (and please note that I was in no means trying to hide the fact from SBK as I tagged him in the tweet, nor was I trying to start crap – just stating my opinion. I had a LOT of hope for the burger.)

I got this back from him, which was nice that he said anything since I’ve said numerous other things to him about the show:

Now here’s what I have NICE to say to SBK, the radio personality:

First of all, you suck. That’s rude. You may want to re-read what I said. Second of all, every time I’ve heard you “review” a beer you never have liked it. I never once called into your show telling you that if you didn’t have something nice to say to keep your mouth shut. And yes, this is on a radio station where surprisingly people care about what you have to say. Which is fine. Good for you. Props to you for getting that spot at the station.

On that note, I will never listen to your show again. You may have meant it in a “joking” manner, but don’t come at me like that. I don’t KNOW you. I don’t know HOW you are. Nor do I care anymore.

It does stink that I won’t be able to hear what Angel is listening to and hear the stuff Matt says. But as for SBK/Kevin (which ever one of you typed that tweet), you are rude.

Yes, this is dumb that this is over a god damn burger, but point of the matter is, I don’t care if it was about.. oh god, who cares. You crossed the wrong person with that comment (and yeah, I know you don’t care.) Like I said before.. RE-READ WHAT I SAID!
