Bringing It Back
May 1, 2012 by Kelly
It’s time to bring back my photography blog. For my sanity. I’ve missed posting pictures and will be trying to post as often as I can. Or at least when I find a picture that I like well enough to post.

Cure For The Run Part Deux
August 22, 2010 by Kelly
This past Saturday was Cure For The Run 2010. From what I’ve heard over $4,000 has been raised for New Hope For Kids.
I’m so glad that I was able to take part of this awesome event.
I have some video that I need to work on still. All of the pictures are on flickr – enjoy!

Weekend Away
April 21, 2010 by Kelly
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of St Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches, Florida. All opinions are 100% mine.
A couple of weeks ago, Jeff and I got to join my parents for a nice little weekend away. We went to one of my favorite cities, St. Augustine! Everything there is so lovely to look at and no matter where you turn you are at “the oldest…bar, schoolhouse, bathroom.”
Growing up, I was always there with my parents, there is so much to do as a child and a grownup.
We spent MANY weekends camping at Anastasia State Park. If you’re an outdoorsy person, a weekend camping trip with your other half can really show how well you and they can deal with things
If you’re wanting play it safe and stay indoors, St. George Inn is in the perfect location of scouting out the city of St. Augustine. Most of the attractions and shops are literally right outside your door! No need for a car around there – you can go visit Flager College or Castillo de San Marcos and take a tour.A stop I always have to make is the St. Augustine Lighthouse to climb the 219 steps to the top. Such an amazing view, from the bottom looking up or the top looking out toward the city.
The weekend we went, we spent most of Saturday walking around the city. I had requested that we go to what could be my all time favorite place to eat. It’s simply titled, The Spanish Bakery. There aren’t a ton of food choices, but what they have is AMAZING!!!! And I always make sure to leave with a loaf or two of bread. Yum! They are open from 9AM – 3PM and once they run out of a certain food for the day, that’s it. So make sure to get there early.
We also found a great bar called Rendezvous – soooo many different kinds of beers! A WHOLE 3 or 4 page menu dedicated to the beer!
During our walk Jeff decided to mess with my mom (she’s an easy target! seriously..Mom, I know you’re reading this and you’re agreeing right now!) and I LOVE this picture of them.
Now for some… more pictures. Of the fam.
All in all, St. Augustine is a wonderful place to spend a nice romantic weekend away. There is so much to do and if you don’t want to participate in all of the touristy things, the beach is always there!

Celebration at The Tavern
February 27, 2010 by Kelly
Thursday, February 25 was the very first tweetup at the Celebration Town Tavern. Beer enthusiasts got together to enjoy some REAL craft beer and to talk.
As many times as Jeff and I have been to Celebration for lunch or dinner, we have walked by the Celebration Town Tavern. There isn’t any reason why. We just didn’t.
Well, we most definitely should have gone before!
99 Bottles of Beer On The Wall.. really?! How have we missed this!
We met some great people, enjoyed some Orange Blossom Pilsner and some new Toasted Coconut Porter! So good!!
There is going to be a tweetup every month. Beer and food pairing and beer and music.
This month we all got a flight of beer: OBP, Oberon Ale, Hazed and Infused and Brooklyn Brown Ale.
Can’t wait for the next one!
Some beer people you should follow: @towntavern, @nighthops, @kwidrick, @OBPBuzz, @Whineaux, @icejunkies
To see the full menu and events going on please visit Celebration Town Tavern.
