Last year at this time, the SomaCow network was in full force of planning and getting ready for the very first Cure For The Run.
This year is no different.
On Saturday August 21st (yes THIS coming Saturday!), SomaCow Network podcasts and lots of supporters of New Hope For Kids will be getting together in downtown Orlando at WiTiki Lounge at Wall Street Plaza.
All of those supporters will be running a 0.05K. Yes, really. That is true. You read that right.
New Hope For Kids helps families and children deal with grief and loss. They also grant wishes for children with life threatening diseases.
You can help them out by donating whatever amount you can through PayPal. Please let me know if you’d like to make other arrangements for donations as we can get something worked out.
Thank you in advance! And if you’re in the Orlando area, please stop by Wall Street Plaza and join us. And maybe you can beat ELROSS.
Check out the below video to see exactly how far a 0.05K is.
SomaCow Media and Rock For Hunger teamed up to put on an amazing event. A 0.05k. 164 feet. No, I am not making this up. I honestly had to walk further to get to my car. Seriously!
Over $3,000 dollars was raised to help the homeless in Orlando, FL. Next year, let’s double it!
On August 22, I will be particating in the Cure for the Run 0.05k to help out with Rock For Hunger. All money goes to raise awareness for homelessness and poverty in Orlando, FL. Here’s where YOU come in!
Jeff and need all the support and sponsors we can get!
If you would be so kind as to go to follow this link and go to paypal and donate ANY amount you can. 25 cents, 50 cents, $1, $5. Literally ANY amount. We would be very grateful. **Please put “Kelly W” or “peglegpug” in the Special Instructions box so I can account who sponsored me!**
If you don’t have a paypal account and would like to do cash or check, let me know so I can get you that information.
It was time to get some primer on the new SomaCow Studio walls! Here are some pictures I got. And yes, I spotted a J. He is very rare to see in public.
